腓立比书 3:13-14

弟兄们，我不是以为自己已经得着了，我只有一件事，就是忘记背后，努力面前的， 向着标竿直跑，要得神在基督耶稣里从上面召我来得的奖赏。

放下过去

“我忘记背后，努力面前的，向着标竿直跑……” - 腓 3:13-14

沉溺于过去很容易，不是吗？我们执着于那些希望挽回的事，在脑海中一遍又一遍地回放那些瞬间。仿佛我们背着一个装满遗憾、愧疚或以往过错的沉重包袱，不断提醒自己曾经的亏欠。我深知这种挣扎的滋味，尤其是在我极度渴望时光倒流、重新来过的时候。

但保罗在此提醒我们，过去的事已经在我们背后了，沉溺其中毫无益处，无法帮助我们成长。事实上，沉溺过去还会阻碍我们，领受神要在我们生命中成就的新事。正如保罗在这段经文中的描述：忘记背后、努力面前，本身就是一种自由。

神呼召我们要向标竿直跑，去追寻祂为我们预备的目标。这并不表示我们要忘记过去的教训，而是不再让过去定义我们的未来。前方有一份奖赏，等待着所有准备好放下旧生活的人。

让我们向着神为我们预备的新生命直跑，不再让过往的过错或遗憾成为阻碍。

祷告

主啊，求你帮助我放下过去，向着你呼召我进入的未来直跑。愿我竭力追求你所预备的奖赏，坚信你的恩典足够我用。阿们。

LETTING GO OF THE PAST

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal. . . .

—Philippians 3:13-14

It’s easy to get trapped in the past, isn’t it? We hold on to things we wish we could undo, replaying those moments in our minds again and again. It’s as if we are carrying a heavy bag full of regret, guilt, or past mistakes—constantly reminding ourselves of our shortcomings. I know I’ve struggled with that—especially when I have wished I could turn back time and do things differently.

But here Paul reminds us that the past is behind us, and that dwelling on it doesn’t help us to grow. In fact, that can hold us back from the new things God wants to do in our lives. There’s a freedom in forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, just as Paul describes in this passage.

God is calling us to press on— to pursue the goal he has for us. This doesn’t mean forgetting the lessons of the past, but it does mean no longer letting the past define our future. There’s a prize ahead, and it’s waiting for all of us who are ready to leave our old life behind.

Let’s press on toward the newness that God has for us, not letting our past mistakes or regrets hold us back.

Lord, help me to let go of the past and to press forward into the future you have called me to. May I strain toward the prize you have for me, trusting that your grace is sufficient. Amen.
