【双语灵修】拯救者DELIVERER
罗马书 11:26; 希伯来书 2:14-15
于是以色列全家都要得救。如经上所记：“必有一位救主从锡安出来，要消除雅各家的一切罪恶。”儿女既同有血肉之体，他也照样亲自成了血肉之体，特要藉着死败坏那掌死权的，就是魔鬼，并要释放那些一生因怕死而为奴仆的人。

我儿子大卫在三岁时发现了一张让他着迷的图片。他会趴在地板上，对着它看个不停。那是欧洲一座古老祭坛上木雕的照片，雕刻描绘的是耶稣踢开死亡之门的情景。
一个暴风雨的夜晚，停电了。孩子们上床已经有一会儿了，但现在没有了小夜灯。屋里漆黑一片，黑得吓人。我去查看他们的情况，在门外听着。我听见大卫在唱歌。他显然只记得两句词，翻来覆去地唱：“我要欢欣，我要欢欣，在其中喜乐，在其中喜乐……”
我听了一会儿，然后推门进去。但我没走几步，大卫就在床上坐直了身子说：“妈妈，给我看那张照片—那张踢开门的照片。”他躺在那个黑暗的地方时，显然一直在想着耶稣的木雕。我想，正是耶稣的那个形象—那位踢开死亡之门、比我们任何恐惧都更强大的拯救者—促使大卫在黑夜中唱起了歌。
大卫给我上了一课。当我们身处黑暗和可怕的境地时，如果我们记得耶稣—记得祂是谁，以及祂以拯救之爱胜过了哪些权势—我们仍然可以歌唱。
祷告
耶稣，感谢你将我们从罪恶、死亡和每一种幽暗的恐惧中拯救出来。求你作我们黑夜中的乐歌。阿们。

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6
DELIVERER
“The deliverer will come. . . .” —Romans 11:26 He . . . shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death . . . —Hebrews 2:14
My son David, at age 3, found a picture that captivated him. He’d bend over it on the floor and look, and look. The picture was of a wood carving from an old altar in Europe. The carving showed Jesus kicking down the gate of death.
One night during a storm, the power went out. The boys had been in bed for a while, but now there was no nightlight. It was dark. Scary dark. I checked on them, listening outside the door. I heard David singing. He apparently knew only two phrases and kept singing them over and over: “I will rejoice, I will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. . . .”
I listened a bit and then opened the door to go in. But before I got far, David sat upright in his bed and said, “Show me the picture, Mommy— the kickin’-down- the-door picture.” He had obviously been thinking about the Jesus carving as he lay in that dark place. And I think that image of Jesus—the deliverer kicking down the door of death and mightier than any of our fears—prompted David to sing his song in the night.
David preached a sermon to my heart. When we are in a dark and scary place, we can still sing songs if we remember Jesus—who he is and what powers he has overcome in his saving love for us.
Jesus, thank you for delivering us from sin and death—and from every dark fear. Be our song in the night. Amen.
