“大卫的子孙耶稣啊，可怜我吧。” - 可 10:47

这个奇妙的故事关乎属灵的眼睛和肉体的眼睛。巴底买是个瞎子，他已经可以透过信心的眼睛看见耶稣是谁，他也想亲眼看见。

巴底买明白耶稣是“大卫的子孙”，也就是神所应许的救主。他恳求“可怜我吧！”已经成为向神寻求帮助的呼声。虽然巴底买是瞎子，但他看到了关于耶稣的真相。

耶稣问他：“你要我为你做什么？”巴底买求的是能看见。于是，耶稣以祂的仁慈，在巴底买的属灵眼光之上，又赐给他肉体的视力。

门徒和跟随耶稣的一大群人还没有清楚地看到耶稣是谁。但路边的瞎子巴底买却能看到这一点！凭着信心，他明白了耶稣是神所应许的救主。在这个故事中我们看到，耶稣的使命是用祂的恩慈满足我们的需要。

“耶稣，大卫的子孙，可怜我吧！” 像巴底买一样，我们可以凭着信心呼求耶稣，知道祂能供应我们所需要的恩典和怜悯。

“神啊，打开我的眼睛；我想看见耶稣。”我想知道祂对我的恩典的奇妙之处，并在信心中跟随祂。阿们。

马可福音 10:46-52

46到了耶利哥，耶稣同门徒并许多人出耶利哥的时候，有一个讨饭的瞎子，是底买的儿子巴底买，坐在路旁。
47他听见是拿撒勒的耶稣，就喊着说：“大卫的子孙耶稣啊，可怜我吧！”
48有许多人责备他，不许他作声，他却越发大声喊着说：“大卫的子孙哪，可怜我吧！”
49耶稣就站住说：“叫过他来。”他们就叫那瞎子，对他说：“放心，起来，他叫你啦！”
50瞎子就丢下衣服，跳起来，走到耶稣那里。
51耶稣说：“要我为你做什么？”瞎子说：“拉波尼，我要能看见！”
52耶稣说：“你去吧！你的信救了你了。”瞎子立刻看见了，就在路上跟随耶稣。

“Have Mercy On Me”

“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” - Mark 10:47

This wonderful story is about spiritual sight as well as physical sight. Bartimaeus, who is blind, can already see (by faith) who Jesus is, and he wants to see with his eyes too.

Bartimaeus understands that Jesus is “the Son of David”—that is, the promised Savior. And his plea, “Have mercy on me,” has become the cry of all who look to God for help. Though he is blind, Bartimaeus sees the truth about Jesus.

When Jesus asks him, “What do you want me to do for you?” Bartimaeus asks for physical sight. So Jesus, in his mercy, adds physical vision to Bartimaeus’s spiritual sight.

The disciples and the large crowd following Jesus do not yet clearly see who Jesus is. But Bartimaeus, the blind man at the roadside, can see this! By faith he understands that Jesus is the promised Savior. And in this story we see that the mission of Jesus is to meet our needs with his mercy.

“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Like Bartimaeus, we can call on Jesus in faith, knowing that he can provide the grace and mercy we need.

Prayer

“Open my eyes, Lord; I want to see Jesus.” I want to know the wonders of his grace for me and to follow him in faith. Amen.
