我是圣灵的殿

“岂不知你们是神的殿，神的灵住在你们里头吗？” - 林前 3:16

《圣经》教导我们，自从我们堕入罪中和破坏了神的世界后，主一直都在作工，为要开一条住在我们中间，使我们再次成为圣洁的途径。这个复原的工程在耶稣身上成就了，借着为我们付上罪价，战胜死亡，差派圣灵住在我们里面，耶稣的到来拯救了我们。

耶稣甚至宣称，祂自己就是神的殿，这殿就像旧约时代的殿那样——是神到来住在衪的子民中间的圣所（参看列王纪上第八章；约翰福音 2:19-22）。耶稣死亡的那一刻，圣殿的幔子从上到下裂为两半（马可福音 15:38），打开了神居住的至圣所。这件事象征神与罪人之间的隔阂被挪开，而神与信衪之人的交通也恢复了。借着耶稣流出的宝血，我们被允准来到父的面前。

耶稣既是那新的殿，衪的灵便到来住在每一个信徒心里，这样我们也成为神活的殿了。神并不往在一座建筑物中，衪现在乃是住在衪的子民里面——在每一个人里面以及群体中间。

神的灵在我们心里作工，衪清洁和洗净我们，再造我们成为圣洁，塑造我们学像耶稣为衪而活。近日神如何塑造你呢？

I AM A TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16

The Bible teaches that ever since we fell into sin and brought destruction into God’s world, the Lord has been working out a way to live among us and make us holy again. This restoration project is accomplished through Jesus, who came to save us by paying the price of our sin, conquering death, and sending his Spirit to live in us.

Jesus even declared himself to be the temple of God, like the Old Testament one—that sacred space where the presence of God came to dwell among his people (see 1 Kings 8; John 2:19-22). At Jesus’ death, the temple curtain tore in two, from top to bottom (Mark 15:38), unveiling the Most Holy Place where God’s presence was to reside. This symbolized the removal of the barrier between God and sinners and the restoration of fellowship with God for all who believe. Through the shed blood of Jesus, we are granted access into the Father’s presence.

And since Jesus is the new temple, his Spirit has come to live within the heart of every believer. So in this way we have become living temples of God. Rather than dwelling in a building, God now lives in his people—both individually and collectively.

In our hearts God’s Spirit works to cleanse and purify us, remaking us to be holy, shaping us to be like Jesus as we live for him. In what ways has God been shaping you lately?
